In September 2017, UTMK became a member of a grandiose business tour organized by the All-Ukrainian Union of Building Materials Producers. The event was held in several large Ukrainian cities at once, and each of them definitely has a huge potential for the development of industrial and construction enterprises.
The tour started in Berdichev – small but ancient and very beautiful Ukrainian city. After the difficult 90s, there was some stagnation in the construction industry, but now the situation is changing for the better, and the prospects for the development of this industry are very encouraging.

Vinnitsa gives the impression of a comfortable and cozy city, with a well-developed and thoughtful infrastructure. At a joint conference with the city administration, the Union of Building Materials Producers discussed the introduction of energy-efficient technologies in the construction of new residential facilities.

In Odessa, we visited the XIII Ukrainian Municipal Forum, and also met with representatives of the mayor's office. In particular, the deputy mayor of the city, Petr Ryabokon, noted the incredible construction boom that is now observed in Odessa. The situation with the Crimea contributes to the growth in the construction of hotel complexes.

But in Izmail, the construction of new housing complexes is developing more dynamically. According to Deputy Mayor Sergei Batkilin, the increase in demand for housing is due to the demographic situation: at the moment, many sailors live in the city, who, upon returning home from voyages, want to experience the most comfortable living conditions.
Chernomorsk was a very pleasant surprise for all participants of the tour. The city is developing at a rapid pace, but the current administration faces very difficult tasks. One of them – the need to strengthen the coastal zone, and in this matter the company "UTMK" will surely be able to help.
The business tour turned out to be incredibly fruitful, thanks to it our company managed to:
- Get visual information about the scale of construction in different regions, which is incredibly important for planning further activities.
- Establish business relationships with representatives of local administrations, government agencies, construction companies.
- Introduce your products and services, focusing on the fact that they are in no way inferior to imported counterparts, and their cost is much lower.
In addition, during the business tour, members of the All-Ukrainian Union of Building Materials Producers did not fail to take advantage of the unique opportunity to communicate, exchange experiences and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
