Description
Hollow section 60x40x3 is a rectangular steel pipe with a cross section of 60mm x 40mm and a wall thickness of 3mm. These pipes, supplied in 6-meter lengths, comply with EN 10219. One running meter weighs 4.31 kg, meaning one ton contains approximately 232.02 meters.
The pipes are available in two carbon structural steel grades: S185 / S235JRH.
The rectangular shape, thick wall, and ribbed design provide increased rigidity compared to round profiles.
