Description
I-beam 120 IPN is a structural steel product characterized by sloped inner edges of the shelves. It has dimensions HxWxT (mm): 120x64x4.8. One linear meter weighs 11.5 kg, one ton contains 86.96 m of rolled metal, and the standard cut is 12.1 m.
The product is manufactured according to DSTU 8768 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE) standards on mills with rotating rolls. This process involves multiple rolling of hot blooms made from structural carbon and low-alloy steel St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355). The I-beam's unique shape provides increased strength, rigidity, and reliability.
Common applications include frame and prefabricated buildings, multi-story constructions, sports facilities, and commercial structures, where they serve as supports, floor joists, and other load-bearing elements. They are also used to reinforce mine shafts, subways, and other underground infrastructure projects.
