Description

I-beam 16 0 IPN is a type of H-shaped beam with a 6–12% inclination of the inner edges of the flanges. The product height is 160 mm, width is 81 mm, and thickness is 5 mm. The standard length is 12.05 m. The weight of one running meter is 15.9 kg, and one ton contains 62.89 m of rolled steel.

It is produced by hot rolling steel blooms from carbon and low-alloy steel grades St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355). Production complies with DSTU 8768 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The structure of such beams can withstand high bending pressure and is resistant to displacement.

I-beam 16 is widely used in construction as vertical columns, individual supports, interfloor floors, and roof frames in prefabricated buildings, panel houses, and long-span structures. It is also used for reinforcing mine shafts, bridges, and overpasses.
