Description
I-beam 16B2 is a normal type of beam with parallel shelf faces. One running meter weighs 15.8 kg, and one ton contains 63.29 m of rolled steel. The standard cut is 12.05 m. The product is 160 mm high, 82 mm wide, and 5 mm thick.
The H-shaped product is hot-rolled from carbon steel grade St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355) in accordance with GOST 26020-83 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). Normal I-beams are resistant to medium loads and external factors.
These beams are widely used in the construction of high-rise and frame buildings with large spans as supports, floors, and roof elements. They are also used in the construction of bridges, overpasses, subways, and to strengthen shafts of industrial and domestic elevators. They are suitable for bending.
