Description
I-beam 24M is a special-purpose steel I-beam, classified as long products. It is made of structural carbon steel of ordinary quality 09G2S (S355J2+AR) grade on hot-rolling mills by rolling through rollers of various sizes in accordance with DSTU 8807 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The product's height is 240 mm, width is 110 mm, thickness is 8.2 mm, and standard length is 12.05 m. The weight of one running meter is 38.3 kg, and one ton contains 26.11 meters of rolled steel. A special feature of the 24M I-beam is the 12% inclination of the inner edges, making it resistant to significant bending loads.
This type of rolled steel is most commonly used for suspension tracks, horizontal floors, supporting elements of railway tracks, and as the basis for industrial machines and assemblies.
