Description
I-beam 300 IPN is a hot-rolled beam with a 6-12% inclination of the inner edges of the flanges. It is made from low-alloy carbon steel grade St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355) on a steel rolling mill with rolls of various sizes in accordance with DSTU 8768 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The standard beam cut is 12.05 m, with dimensions of 300 mm x 135 mm x 6.5 mm (L x W x H). One linear meter weighs 36.5 kg, and one ton contains 27.4 m of rolled steel.
This I-beam is used in many types of construction, including foundations, interfloor floors, vertical columns, and roof frames of residential and industrial buildings. It is also used to strengthen elevator shafts and as guides for bridges, overpasses, and suspension tracks. Due to its special design, this rolled steel product is resistant to vibration and static loads.
