I-beam 40B2 is a type of normal beam with parallel shelves. The product height is 396 mm, width is 165 mm, thickness is 7.5 mm, and standard length is 12.05 m. The weight of one running meter is 54.7 kg, and the length of one ton of rolled steel is 18.28 m.

It is made by rolling heated blooms from carbon and low-alloy steel grade St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355) on structural mills. Production complies with GOST 26020-83 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The special H-shape allows it to withstand significant loads and environmental influences. It is also well-suited for bending.

I-beams 40B2 are widely used in construction as load-bearing elements, columns, floors between floors, and roof structures subject to high loads. They are also used to strengthen mine shafts of subways and tunnels, and in heavy engineering as frames for various units, mills, and machines.
