Description
The 40K2 I-beam is an H-shaped product made by hot-rolling from carbon steel grade St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355) in accordance with GOST 26020-83 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The weight of one running meter is 165.6 kg, and the length of one ton is 6.04 m.
40K2 I-beams are column-type beams with parallel shelf faces. The standard cut is 12.05 m. The product is 400 mm high, 400 mm wide, and 13 mm thick.
Due to the increased thickness of the shelves and walls, increased rigidity, and affordable price, the beam is widely used in industrial and civil construction. Applications include supports, flooring systems, tunnels, bridge structures, and elevator shaft reinforcement. It can withstand significant bending loads.
