Description
The 40K5 I-beam is an H-shaped product manufactured by hot-rolling from ordinary carbon steel grade St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355) in accordance with GOST 26020-83 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE). The standard cutting length is 12.05 m. It is 431 mm high, 400 mm wide, and 23 mm thick. The weight of one running meter is 291.2 kg, and the length of one ton is 3.43 m.
The 40K5 I-beam is a column type of beam with parallel shelf faces. Due to its resistance to heavy loads and external factors, as well as its relative affordability, it is widely used in industrial and civil construction. Common applications include supports for building floors, tunnels, bridge structures, and elevator shaft reinforcement. It is also suitable for bending.
