Description
The 55B1 I-beam is a type of H-shaped rolled steel produced by hot-rolling from St3, 09G2S (S235 / S275 / S355), structural carbon and low-alloy steels, using rotating roll mills. The standard cut length is 12.05 meters. Dimensions in mm (HxBxS): 543x220x9.5. The weight of one running meter is 89 kg, and the length of one ton is 11.24 m. Rolled products are manufactured in accordance with GOST 26020-83 ( acc. EN 10025 cert. 3.1 + CE).
The design with parallel shelf faces provides increased rigidity and the ability to distribute loads evenly.
This rolled steel is often used for interfloor floors and roof frames in the construction of high-rise buildings for various purposes, as well as for the construction of columns, bridges, overhead railways, and to strengthen mine shafts and subways. It is also used in heavy engineering.
