Description

Steel Weld Neck Flange DN200 PN40 is a connecting element for sealing pipeline systems with high pressure and temperature. The smallest diameter is 200 mm. Nominal pressure is 40 bar. The connection surface can be designed with a mating projection, a protrusion, a thorn-groove, for a lens gasket, or for an oval gasket. Due to its tapered neck with varying wall thicknesses, the product withstands higher pressures than a conventional flat flange.

These flanges are manufactured according to GOST 12821-80 and EN1092-1 standards. The manufacturing process involves forging, stamping, or plasma-arc cutting of billets from structural quality steel grade 20 (C20 / S235JRG2).
