Description
Steel Weld Neck Flange Du250 PN16 is a flat piece with holes for bolts and studs, designed for strong connection of pipeline elements. The smaller diameter is 250 mm, and the nominal pressure is 16 bar. It is manufactured by forging, stamping, or plasma-arc cutting of billet from structural carbon steel grade 20 (C20 / S235JRG2), conforming to GOST 12821-80 and EN1092-1 standards.
Collar flanges are frequently used as integral connecting parts of high-pressure pipelines, or for connecting pipelines to vessels or technical devices. Their tapered hub design distributes the pressure of the supplied substances. They are welded with a solid seam and connected with bolts/studs. These flanges find applications in hot water, heating, gas, and petrochemical pipeline systems.
