Description
Hot-rolled seamless galvanized steel tube 159x8 is a high-strength, rigid circular hollow section protected by an evenly applied anti-corrosive layer of zinc. Crafted by hot deformation of solid steel billets, it features an outer diameter of 159 mm paired with an 8.0 mm wall. Lengths vary from 4 to 12.5 meters. Linear mass is approximately 29.79 kg per meter, meaning a single metric ton contains 33.57 meters.
Dimensions fully align with the European size grid (per EN 10216-1). For structural applications, steel grade 20 serves as a functional analogue to grade S235JRH as defined in EN 10210.
The thick, monolithic wall is well-suited for high-load hydraulic configurations, technology pipes, and structural components. Typical applications include municipal water supply mains with high-pressure variables, heating station connections, and heavy vertical columns in structural frames.
