Hot-rolled sheet 16 mm S355 is a thick-rolled sheet 2 m wide, 6 m long, and 16 mm thick. The raw material used is low-alloy structural steel for welding, grade 09G2S. The sheet is produced by rolling a steel billet through shafts after preheating the workpiece. The quality of the hot-rolled sheet meets the requirements of EN 10025-2 (GOST 19903-74). The weight of a hot-rolled sheet (16 mm, 09G2S) is 1 507,20 kg.

Sheet metal is used in the production of corrugated board, welded ordinary and profile pipes, and as a material for producing safes and heat-resistant door structures. It is also used in the automotive, aircraft, and shipbuilding industries as a material for sheathing the hull of ships, aircraft, and cars, and for stamping parts.
