Description
Hot-rolled sheet 6 mm S355 is a sheet metal with a thickness of 6 mm, a width of 1.5 m, and a length of 6 m. It is produced by hot deformation of a hot billet using structural low-alloy steel grade S355 according to EN 10025-2, specifically designed for welded structures. One sheet weighs 423.9 kg, with 2.36 sheets per ton.
This sheet metal is primarily used in the production of welded steel pipes and frequently serves as a wall, ceiling, or floor sheathing material. It also finds wide application in the production of stamped parts, safes, heat-resistant doors, and roofing materials like corrugated board.
