Description
Seamless pipe 140x6.5 17G1S ( S355 ) is a hot-rolled pipe with a ring-shaped cross-section. It has an outer diameter of 140 mm and a wall thickness of 6.5 mm. A running meter weighs 21.4 kg, with 46.73 meters per ton. The pipes are available in lengths of 4-12 m.
These pipes are manufactured from structural carbon quality steel grade 17G1S ( S355 ) according to DSTU 8938 ( ≈ EN 10216 / EN 10210 3.1 + CE ) using hot-rolling mills. Their increased strength makes them suitable for various applications.
These pipes are used in drilling rigs and pump and compressor units as casing pipes. They separate gas- and oil-bearing formations to prevent rock from falling into the well. They are also used in rigs for drilling water and gas wells.
