Description
Seamless pipe 89x12 mm steel 45 ( C45E ) is a type of thick-walled rolled metal product without a weld. It has an outer diameter of 89 mm and a wall thickness of 12 mm. A running meter weighs 22.8 kg, with 43.88 meters per ton. The pipes are available in lengths of 4-12 m.
The pipe is manufactured according to DSTU 8938 ( ≈ EN 10216 / EN 10210 3.1 + CE ) by hot-rolling, passing the billet through a series of rollers. The material used is high-quality structural steel 45 ( C45E ).
Due to their increased strength, these pipes are suitable for demanding applications such as drilling rigs, pump and compressor units, and casing pipes. In these roles, they separate gas- and oil-bearing formations and protect against rock falls in wells. They are also used in rigs for drilling water and gas wells.
