Description
Steel wire rod 12 mm is a flexible and durable rod made of ductile steel with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 12 mm. A running meter weighs 0.89 kg. There are 1123.6 meters of rolled products in a ton. It is available in lengths of 2-6 meters.
It is manufactured from structural steel grade S235JR in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 2.2. The production process utilizes wire drawing mills.
Wire rod is used to manufacture communication cables and as a base for rebar of various diameters. It serves as a billet in the production of staples, nails, and construction ropes. It also forms the basis for the production of mesh, which is further used for fencing and reinforcement in construction and repair work.
