It is produced by forming preheated slabs from 20X2H4A(19CrNi8), a structural steel alloyed with chromium and nickel, on rolling mills. It is used as a billet for forgings, superheater tubes, steam lines, manifolds, flanges, high-pressure plant parts, and air-hardened pipe fittings. It is in demand in construction for strengthening foundations, vertical and horizontal structures, and reinforced concrete floors.
