Steel round bar 100 mm 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242 is a smooth bar made of structural steel alloyed with chromium and manganese, grade 35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242. It is produced on rolling mills by hot deformation from solid billets. The production complies with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. It is available in lengths of 2–6 meters. The weight of one meter is 61.65 kg, and one ton equals 16.22 meters. The cross-sectional diameter is 100 mm. This steel grade exhibits good weldability when preheated.

It is used in the automotive industry, agricultural machinery production, machine tool building, and the manufacturing of railway fasteners to create critical parts with high wear resistance requirements. It is also in demand for seamless pipe production.
