Description
Steel round bar 12 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid, round rod made of high-quality spring steel, grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108. It is produced on rolling mills via hot deformation from solid ingots and slabs, in accordance with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard. The product is available in lengths of 2–6 meters. The weight per meter is 0.89 kg, with approximately 1123.6 meters per ton. The cross-sectional diameter is 12 mm.
This product is commonly used as a blank for manufacturing springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other components requiring high wear resistance and operating under non-impact loads.
