Description
Steel round bar 120 mm 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 is an elongated cylindrical ferrous rolled product. A running meter weighs 88.8 kg. One ton contains 11.26 m of rolled steel. The standard length of the bars is 3–6 m. The product diameter is 120 mm.
Round bars are hot-rolled on specialized mills from structural alloy steel grade 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. Due to its mechanical properties, this product is widely used in the machine-building industry for manufacturing improved and cemented parts that require high core strength and toughness. It is also used for structural elements in welded metal constructions.
