It is manufactured by hot rolling preheated slabs of X20Cr13 / 1.4021 / AISI 420, a chromium-alloyed heat-resistant steel.

This round bar serves as a billet for forgings, superheater tubes, steam lines, manifolds, flanges, high-pressure plant components, and air-hardened pipe fittings.
