Description
Steel round bar 140 mm 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337 is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 140 mm. It is manufactured in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 120.8 kg, with approximately 8.28 m per ton.
It is produced by forming preheated slabs of 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum, on rolling mills.
It is used as a billet for components operating at high temperatures for extended periods: superheater pipes, high-pressure plant components, air-hardened pipe fittings, flanges, and tractor track bushings. It is also used in construction to reinforce foundations, as well as vertical and horizontal structures in Poland.
