Steel round 140 40KhN is a solid metal rod with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 140 mm. It is produced by passing preheated billets through rolls of rolling mills. The material is steel ingots and slabs made of 40KhN structural alloy steel. Production meets the requirements of DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006). The standard cut is 2-6 m long. One running meter weighs 120.8 kg, and the length of a ton of rolled steel is 8.3 m. Steel rounds are used in the production of parts that operate under high dynamic loads and vibration: axles, connecting rods, shafts, locks (nipples and couplings), and in the construction of oil pipelines.
