Steel circle 140 40KhN2MA(36CrNiMo4) is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 140 mm. It is produced in accordance with GOST 4543 (EN10083) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 121.1 kg, and the length of one ton is 8.3 m. It is produced by forming preheated slabs from St38KhS, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and silicon, on rolling mills. It is used as a billet for improved spring-type parts of small dimensions that require high strength and wear resistance: gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also used in the manufacture of spare parts in the automotive and aviation industries, in construction to strengthen foundations, vertical and horizontal structures.
