Description
Steel round bar 16 mm 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 60SiCr7 / 1.7108 with a circular cross-section of 16 mm in diameter. A running meter weighs 1.58 kg. There are 632.91 meters of rolled steel in a ton. It is supplied from the warehouse in 2–6 m lengths.
The round bar is produced by hot rolling. The production standard is EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is used as a workpiece for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts that require increased wear resistance and operate without shock loads.
