Description
Steel round bar 170 mm 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337 is a solid structural low-alloy steel bar of grade 16CrMo4-4 / 1.7337 with a circular cross-section of 170 mm in diameter. The weight per linear meter is 178.2 kg, with 5.61 meters of rolled product per metric ton. It is available in lengths ranging from 2 to 6 meters.
The round bar is manufactured via hot rolling. Production complies with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. This steel grade features high heat resistance and excellent weldability.
It is used for the production of seamless cold-formed, heat-deformed, and hot-pressed reduced pipes for steam boilers and pipeline systems operating under high and supercritical steam parameters, as well as for gas turbines, boilers, and jet engines.
