Description
Steel round bar 170 mm 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 is a type of hot-rolled steel bar. It is produced by deforming heated billets on specialized rolling mills. The material used is structural alloy steel grade 20MnCr5 / 1.7147. The product meets the requirements of EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
The bar has a diameter of 170 mm and a standard length of 3-6 m. One linear meter weighs 178.2 kg, with 5.61 m of rolled steel per ton.
This steel is widely used as a raw material for manufacturing collets, spring washers, friction discs, gears, trunnions, worms, and other components that must withstand high sliding speeds under medium pressure. It is also utilized in construction for gates, frames, and other metal structures, as well as for reinforcing floor slabs.
