Description
Steel round bar 170 mm 30CrMo4 / 1.7218 is a heat-resistant rolled product made of structural chromium-molybdenum steel grade 30CrMo4 / 1.7218. The nominal diameter is 170 mm. The standard length ranges from 2 to 6 m. Product quality is regulated by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is manufactured via hot-rolling on rolling mills. The weight per linear meter is 178.2 kg, with approximately 5.6 meters per metric ton. This grade requires preheating for welding.
It is used for manufacturing general-purpose forgings, steam turbine rotors and disks, flanges, gears, shafts, trunnions, studs, nuts, bolts, and various components operating at temperatures up to 450-500°C. It is widely utilized in agricultural machinery, automotive, motorcycle, and construction industries for designing various metal structures.
