Steel circle 170 40KhN is a solid rod with a round cross section and a diameter of 170 mm. It is produced by heating and deforming billets on rolling mills. Steel ingots and plates made of chrome-nickel structural steel of grade 170 40KhN are used as raw material. The product complies with the standards of DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:2007 (GOST 2590-2006). The standard cut has a length of 2-6 meters. One running meter weighs 178.2 kg, and a ton is 5.6 m long. Round wood is very strong, but difficult to weld. That's why it's used to make rollers for rail and structural steel mills, as well as heavy section hot rolling mills. This disc is also used in the mechanical engineering and instrument industry for the production of spare parts that can withstand high vibration and dynamic loads: shafts, rods, gear shafts, couplings, nipples, spindles, bolts. 170 40HN steel discs are offered through UTMC's network of metal service centers.
