The weight of one meter of running steel is 2 kg. There are approximately 500 meters in one ton. Standard cutting is 6.05 m. The cross-sectional dimension is 18 mm. It has good weldability. The main application for steel rounds is machine and machine tool building. It is used to make spare parts such as shafts, gears, equipment for power plants, the food and chemical industries, and wheel elements for agricultural machinery. It serves as a raw material for the production of spiral-welded and seamless steel pipes.
