Description
Steel round bar 180 mm 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 is a long cylindrical ferrous metal product. It is manufactured by hot rolling from structural alloy steel grade 20MnCr5 / 1.7147 in accordance with EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE. The weight of one linear meter is 199.8 kg, with approximately 5.01 m of rolled steel per ton. The standard length is 3-6 m, and the diameter is 180 mm.
This grade of steel offers excellent weldability. It is suitable for manufacturing automotive components in heavy industry, shipbuilding, the oil and gas sector, and forging. It is used to produce collets, spring elements, cutting discs, gears, crankshafts, trunnions, worms, and other spare parts designed to withstand medium pressure and high mechanical loads.
