Description
Steel round bar 180 mm 19CrNi8 / 1.5924 is a cylindrical rod made of structural alloy steel grade 19CrNi8 / 1.5924 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 180 mm. A running meter weighs 200 kg, with 5.01 meters of rolled product per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2–6 meters.
Steel round bar is produced by hot rolling a billet through a rolling mill. Production complies with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard. This steel grade exhibits good weldability when preheated.
It is used in mechanical engineering to manufacture high-strength, wear-resistant components such as gears, pins, couplings, and engine intake valves. It is also in demand as a raw material for the production of seamless pipes and pipeline valves.
