Description
Steel round bar 180 mm 58CrV4 / 1.8161 is a solid bar made of spring steel grade 58CrV4 / 1.8161 with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 180 mm. A running meter weighs 200 kg, with 5 meters per ton. It is supplied from the warehouse in lengths of 2–6 meters.
Steel round bar is produced by hot rolling a billet through a rolling mill, in accordance with the EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE standard.
This steel is ideal for critical and highly loaded springs, thrust washers, brake bands, friction discs, gears, flanges, bearing housings, clamping and feed collets, and other parts requiring increased wear resistance and operating without shock loads.
