Description
Steel round bar 180 mm C80U / 1.1525 is a metal rod manufactured from tool carbon steel grade C80U / 1.1525. The base diameter is 180 mm, with a standard length of 2–6 m. Product quality is regulated by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
The product is manufactured via hot rolling on rolling mills. The weight of one linear meter is 200 kg, and one ton of rolled steel corresponds to 5 meters.
This round steel is used for the production of cutting tools not exposed to intense heat during operation, such as files, taps, reamers, hacksaws, as well as locksmith and surgical instruments. It is also utilized in the manufacturing of specific types of dies and measuring tools that require high precision and wear resistance.
