Description
Steel round bar 210 mm 09G2S (S355J2 / 1.0577) is a bar made of structural low-alloy steel grade 09G2S (S355J2 / 1.0577) with a diameter of 210 mm. A running meter weighs 271.9 kg, with 3.7 meters of rolled steel per ton. It is available from stock in lengths of 2-6 m.
Steel round bar is produced by processing heated solid billets on rolling mills. Quality is regulated by DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE). The rolled products can be welded without restrictions.
It is used in the production of steam boilers, apparatus, and containers operating under pressure at temperatures ranging from -70 to +450 °C. It is in demand for welded structures in the chemical and petroleum engineering industries and shipbuilding. It is also used in the manufacture of cold- and hot-formed pipes and valves.
