Description

Steel round bar 22 mm S355J2 / 1.0577 is a solid profile made of heat-resistant structural alloy steel grade S355J2 / 1.0577. The nominal diameter is 22 mm, with a standard length of 2–6 m. Product quality is regulated by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.

The product is manufactured by hot rolling a heated billet through mill stands. The weight per linear meter is 2.98 kg, with approximately 335.6 meters per tonne. The material exhibits excellent weldability.

It is widely used in mechanical engineering for the production of welded and prefabricated steel structures. It is also suitable for both batch and mass production of components operating under high temperatures and pressures. Furthermore, it is in demand as a reinforcing element in construction and is utilized in the oil, chemical, and nuclear power industries.
