Description
Steel round bar 220 mm 18HGT / 18XGT is a hot-rolled long product with a cylindrical cross-section. The standard length is 3–6 m. The weight of one linear meter is 298.4 kg, with 3.4 m per metric ton. The nominal diameter is 220 mm. Production complies with the requirements of DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1).
It is manufactured by hot rolling structural alloy steel grade 18HGT / 18XGT. The material exhibits excellent machinability on lathes and milling machines.
This round bar is widely used in mechanical engineering, forging, and construction. It serves as a raw material for high-strength components such as bushings, cylinders, locks, guides, rods, and other cylindrical parts, as well as for the production of seamless pipes.
