Description
Steel round bar 220 mm 38CrSi4 / 1.5201 is a solid rod made of structural chromium-silicon steel grade 38CrSi4 / 1.5201. The cross-sectional diameter is 220 mm. The standard length is 2–6 m. The product quality is standardized by EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE.
It is produced by hot-rolling on rolling mills. One linear meter weighs 298.4 kg. The length of one ton of rolled steel is 3.4 meters.
This round bar is used to manufacture gears with high hardness and wear resistance requirements, as well as bushings, disks, couplings, shafts, and pins. It is one of the most popular types of rolled steel in agricultural machinery, machine tool building, and transport engineering. It is also used in construction for designing frame buildings.
