It is produced by deforming preheated slabs of St15KhM, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum, on rolling mills. It is used as a billet for forgings, superheater tubes, steam lines, manifolds, flanges, parts of high-pressure plants, and air-hardened pipeline fittings. It is in demand in construction to strengthen foundations, vertical and horizontal structures. It is used in industrial and private construction.
