Description
Steel round bar 230 mm 15XM is a smooth cylindrical bar with a cross-sectional diameter of 230 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 326.1 kg, with approximately 3.1 m per ton.
It is manufactured by hot rolling preheated slabs of 15XM, a structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum.
It is used as a billet for forgings, superheater tubes, steam lines, manifolds, flanges, high-pressure plant components, and air-hardened pipeline fittings. It is also in demand in construction for reinforcing foundations, as well as vertical and horizontal structures in both industrial and private projects.
