Description
Steel round bar 230 mm 25XGT (25MnCr5 / 1.7141) is a hot-rolled ferrous metal product with a circular cross-section and a diameter of 230 mm. It is manufactured by deforming hot billets on rolling mills.
The material used consists of ingots and slabs made of structural chromium-manganese steel. The product meets the requirements of DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).
The standard length of the bars is 3-6 m. A running meter weighs 326.1 kg, and one ton contains 3.1 m of rolled steel.
It is used as a feedstock for seamless pipes of various diameters, as well as for the manufacture of springs, bushings, valves, hardware, axles, and other machine and equipment parts. It is also utilized in the production of metal-cutting tools and in the development of various structures for industrial and private construction.
