Description
Steel round bar 230 mm 38XMA is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 230 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 326.1 kg, with approximately 3.1 m per ton.
It is manufactured by forming preheated slabs of 38XMA (41CrMo4 / 1.7225), a high-quality structural steel alloyed with chromium and molybdenum, on rolling mills.
This round bar serves as a heavy-duty billet for large-scale industrial components operating under extreme mechanical loads and high temperatures. It is widely used in heavy engineering for manufacturing massive shafts, high-load gears, turbine rotors, and critical structural elements.
