It is manufactured in rolling mills from slabs and ingots of 45 (C45E / 1.1191) structural carbon steel by passing a heated billet through rolls. The standard length is 4.7 m. The product diameter is 230 mm. A running meter weighs approximately 326.1 kg, with 3.1 m per ton. Production complies with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE).
