Steel round 24 St40Kh is a solid bar with a circular cross section. The cross-sectional diameter is 24 mm and the standard length is 5.7 m. The weight of one running meter is 3.6 kg, and one ton contains 277.8 m of rolled steel. It is made by rolling heated slabs on special machines from structural alloy steel St40Kh. Production complies with DSTU 7806-2015; DSTU 4738:007 (GOST 2590-2006). Steel rounds are in demand in construction for reinforcing concrete slabs, as billets for calibrated rolled products, for improved parts of mechanisms of varying complexity, in the manufacture of plungers, gears, axles and semi-axles, bands, bolts, bushings, and calipers. It is also used as a billet for hot and cold stamping and in the production of decorative elements. On a self-delivery basis, 24 St40X steel rounds can be purchased at UTMC's warehouse in Kyiv, as well as branches in Boryspil, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Poltava, Kherson and Chernivtsi.
