Description
Steel round bar 240 mm 09G2S (S355J2 / 1.0577) is an elongated cylindrical billet with a diameter of 240 mm. Quality is regulated by DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE). It is supplied in lengths of 2–6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 355.1 kg, and the length of one ton is 2.8 m.
It is manufactured by hot rolling from 09G2S (S355J2 / 1.0577), a heat-resistant structural alloy steel.
This round steel is used in the construction, chemical, oil, and shipbuilding industries. It is utilized for manufacturing pipeline fittings, steam pipes, as well as seamless and welded pipes designed for high- and low-temperature environments. It is also in high demand for the design of steel-frame buildings.
