Description
Steel round bar 240 mm 18XGT (20MnCr5 / 1.7147) is a bar with a circular cross-section.
This product is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) by hot rolling a structural alloy steel billet of grade 18XGT (20MnCr5 / 1.7147).
The standard length is 3–6 m. The diameter is 240 mm. The weight of a running meter is 355.1 kg, and the length of one ton is 2.8 m.
This round bar is used to manufacture components and machinery units operating at high speeds and under shock loads, as well as for producing seamless pipes and valves.
In the machine-building industry, it is utilized for manufacturing friction discs, gears, shafts, crankshafts, trunnions, and worms.
