Description

Steel round bar 240 mm 35XGSA (35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242) is a cylindrical billet with a cross-sectional diameter of 240 mm. It is produced in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) in lengths of 2-6 m. The weight of one meter of rolled steel is 355.13 kg, and the length of one ton is 2.8 m.

It is manufactured by forming preheated slabs of 35XGSA (35CrMnSi4-4 / 1.7242), a structural steel alloyed with chromium and manganese, on rolling mills.

It is used as a billet for high-strength, wear-resistant small-sized spring-type components: gears, rollers, pins, couplings, and intake valves for tractor engines. It is also utilized in the manufacture of spare parts for the automotive and aviation industries, as well as in construction for reinforcing foundations and vertical or horizontal structures.
