Description

Steel round bar 240 mm 40XN2MA (36CrNiMo4 / 1.6511) is a metal billet in the form of a round bar with a diameter of 240 mm. The standard cut length is 2–6 m. A running meter weighs 356 kg, with 2.8 m of product per ton.

The rolled product is manufactured in accordance with DSTU 4738:2007 ( ≈ EN 10060 cert. 3.1 + CE) from 40XN2MA (36CrNiMo4 / 1.6511) structural alloy steel. It welds well with workpiece preheating.

These round bars are often used to manufacture small, improved parts with high wear resistance requirements: gears, shafts, pins, couplings, tractor engine intake valves, and seamless rolled rings for various purposes. It is widely used in the automotive and instrumentation industries, as well as in railway construction for parts and fasteners.
